The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About New Tab Network

New Tab Network replaces Chrome's new tab page with the New Tab Network Discover page. The site that's made for you to discover articles of interest every time you open a new tab. We've created the thing to offer the easiest way for you to use New Tab Network and to ensure a non-data-hungry extension to do just that. Every time you open a new tab you land on https://www.newtabnetwork.com/discover instead of a default. Nothing else about your browser changes: your homepage, your default search engine or your search results. We've built it to collect nothing and for you to discover something.
