Look up Dutch words without leaving the page. On YouTube, turn on Dutch subtitles and click any word. The video pauses and a card shows the English translation, a Dutch definition, the word class and the conjugation or plural. Close the card and the video carries on. On any other website, double-click a Dutch word, or select it, right-click and choose "Look up". The card appears right next to the word. Every card comes from the Netjes Nederlands dictionary, the same one as the word lookup on netjesnederlands.nl: • English translation and a short Dutch definition • Word class, de or het, and the meaning that fits the sentence • Conjugation for verbs, plural and diminutive for nouns, and the forms of adjectives • Pronunciation, where available • Links to Reverso Context, Wiktionary, Synoniemen.net and Forvo • Add to deck: save words as flashcards in your Netjes Nederlands account (Kaas) Free and Kaas A free Netjes Nederlands account gives 25 lookups a day, shared with the website. Kaas members have unlimited lookups. How to start 1. Add the extension to Chrome. 2. On the page that opens, log in to netjesnederlands.nl and click Connect. 3. Open a Dutch video on YouTube, turn on Dutch subtitles and click a word. Privacy The extension reads text only when you click or double-click a word, and sends only that word to Netjes Nederlands.
