About nerdbox – Private disposable email
Sign up anywhere without giving away your real email.
When a site asks for your email, nerdbox creates a disposable address and fills it in for you. It then shows you the verification code as soon as it arrives. Your real inbox stays safe from spam, data resale and breaches.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Right-click an email field and choose "Fill with nerdbox". You can also use the keyboard shortcut or the extension button.
2. A disposable address is created and filled in. It is labelled with the site's name, so you know what it was for.
3. The email arrives: the code appears in a small panel on the page. Copy it, or let nerdbox fill in the code field.
IN THE EXTENSION WINDOW
- Your active addresses and the latest code each one received
- One click to your nerdbox inbox to read the full emails
YOUR INBOXES ARE PRIVATE
On most disposable email services, inboxes are public: anyone who knows the address can read the mail. On nerdbox, every inbox is tied to your account. Only you can read your emails.
PRIVACY FIRST
- No data collection, no telemetry, no ads
- The extension only acts on the page where you use it: it has no access to all websites
- It only reads the email field you target, nothing else on the page
GOOD TO KNOW
- You need a free nerdbox account, created at mail.nerdlab.sh
- An address lasts 24 hours and can be extended up to 7 days
- nerdbox only receives email: you can't reply or send
- Some sites reject disposable addresses. Don't use them for important accounts (banking, taxes, healthcare).
