MyWeatherPage shows the weather for the place you choose every time you open a new tab. WHAT YOU GET • Current conditions at a glance for the city you pick. • Forecast: open the card to see the next 12 hours and the next 7 days. • Your choice of units: Fahrenheit or Celsius, and miles or kilometers per hour. • Recent locations: switch between the last five places you looked up. • Always current: the forecast refreshes on its own every ten minutes. If it can't be reached, the page tells you plainly instead of showing an empty card. • Web search: a clear search box at the center of the page, using your browser's default search engine unless you pick another. • Your favorite websites: shortcut tiles you can edit, plus an optional list of your most-visited sites. • Make it yours: choose a background photo, show or hide the clock, and pick a light or dark look. WEATHER DATA Weather data comes from Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com). To get your forecast, MyWeatherPage sends Open-Meteo the location you chose. It does not use your device's location. YOUR SETTINGS Your choices are saved in your browser. If you sign in to Chrome with sync turned on, your city and units follow you to your other computers. SEARCH PARTNER If you choose Yahoo in Settings, your searches and the suggestions shown as you type go through our search partner, and MyWeatherPage may earn revenue from those searches. A note under the search-engine choice in Settings says so. The default is your browser's own search engine. USAGE STATISTICS MyWeatherPage can send anonymous counts of new tabs opened, searches and shortcut clicks, along with a random install ID. It never sends what you search for or the sites you visit. You can turn this off at any time in Settings. PERMISSIONS • Storage: saves your settings. • Search: sends searches to your browser's default search engine. • Top sites and website icons (optional): requested only if you turn on "most visited sites".
