MyStyle

MyStyle is a per-site CSS editor for Chrome. Pick an element on any page, write the CSS you wish the page had, and MyStyle applies it on every visit — without modifying the page itself, without a remote service, and without sending any data anywhere. — How it works — Open the side panel from the toolbar, click "+ Pick element", then click any element on the page. MyStyle inserts a CSS selector on a new line in the editor. Type the rules you want; they are validated, saved to chrome.storage.local, and applied immediately to the page via a single <style> element. Press Alt+P to toggle the picker from anywhere on the page. — What it can do — • Write CSS per site. Each site has its own buffer; the side panel shows the buffer for the tab you are looking at. • Hide elements with one selector. Add a rule like `.cookie-banner { display: none !important; }` to clean up clutter on news sites, dashboards, or social feeds. • Live preview as you type. A built-in CSS parser (css-tree) checks every keystroke; the page re-renders the moment the buffer is valid. • Toggle a site on or off without deleting the rules. • Multiple site patterns: exact host (example.com), wildcard (*.example.com), or full URL with a path prefix. • All data stored locally with chrome.storage.local. Settings (keyboard shortcut, enable flag) sync via chrome.storage.sync. — Privacy — MyStyle does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any user data. There is no analytics, no telemetry, no remote server. The content script runs on every page so it can apply your CSS; it only writes to its own <style id="mystyle-applied-styles"> element and only listens for messages from the side panel. The host permission <all_urls> is required to apply your CSS on every site you choose to customize. — Limits — Chromium only (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera). Firefox is not targeted. The side panel is opened from the toolbar icon, not a popup.
