About My Nail Art
SEE IT. SNIP IT. STYLE IT. SHOW YOUR NAIL TECH.
Turn scattered nail inspiration into one beautiful, organized, and shareable plan for your next appointment.
My Nail Art is a private, local-first nail inspiration and design studio built directly into Chrome. When you discover a color combination, pattern, texture, outfit, photograph, or nail design you love, My Nail Art helps you capture the visible detail, save it to your private collection, customize a complete 10 Nail Set, and create an Appointment Passport that is easy to show to a nail professional.
No more searching through old screenshots, browser tabs, saved posts, messages, and photo albums at the salon. My Nail Art brings your inspiration, design choices, nail-by-nail instructions, colors, and appointment notes together in one clear visual reference.
FROM BROWSER INSPIRATION TO APPOINTMENT-READY DESIGN
My Nail Art follows one simple creative workflow:
1. CAPTURE
Collect inspiration from the page you are viewing, your clipboard, or your device.
2. DESIGN
Turn your saved ideas into a coordinated design for all ten nails.
3. HANDOFF
Export a polished visual Appointment Passport that you can save, print, or share.
CAPTURE THE EXACT DETAIL THAT INSPIRES YOU
Inspiration can come from anywhere—not only existing nail designs. A floral dress, piece of jewelry, sunset, album cover, wallpaper pattern, color palette, or work of art could become the starting point for your next manicure.
Open Capture Studio beside the page you are browsing and choose how you want to collect the idea:
• Snip an exact visible area from the active page
• Capture the visible tab and refine the crop
• Paste a copied image from your clipboard
• Import an image from your device
• Review a capture before anything is saved
• Rename the inspiration so it is easy to recognize later
• Cancel unwanted captures without adding them to your collection
• Optionally retain the page title and source URL for your own reference
• Reopen recent inspiration from your private local collection
Source-reference storage is off by default. You decide whether a page title or URL should be retained with a confirmed capture.
CREATE A COMPLETE 10 NAIL SET
My Nail Art helps you plan both hands as one coordinated design—not just a single nail or an isolated color swatch.
Use the 10 Nail Set editor to customize:
• Left and right hands
• Every individual finger
• Nail shape
• Nail length
• Base colors
• Color palette
• Finish
• Mood
• Occasion
• Pattern and style direction
• Artwork placement
• Accent nails
• Must-match details
• Flexible details and substitutions
• Technician notes and appointment questions
Start with a generated coordinated set, then adjust each nail until the design reflects your vision.
POWERFUL, VISUAL EDITING CONTROLS
Add built-in artwork or use your own imported inspiration as a design layer.
Depending on the selected layer, you can:
• Move artwork around the nail
• Scale artwork larger or smaller
• Rotate artwork
• Crop imported imagery
• Flip artwork
• Adjust opacity
• Change layer order
• Hide or reveal a layer
• Lock a layer to prevent accidental changes
• Copy and reuse visual directions
• Mirror a hand when you want a coordinated layout
• Apply a base color across the complete set
• Add several layers to one nail
• Select and edit nails independently
• Undo and redo changes during the current design session
The visual editor helps you show placement and composition instead of relying only on written explanations.
BUILD A REUSABLE DESIGN LIBRARY
My Nail Art includes built-in design elements such as hearts, sparkles, flowers, gems, dots, stripes, and French-tip directions.
You can also expand your private design library by importing:
• Nail inspiration images
• Photographs
• Color references
• PNG artwork
• JPEG artwork
• WebP artwork
• GIF images
• SVG shapes
• Reusable custom design elements
Add custom colors and choose which imported assets should remain available in your studio.
Your reusable library stays on your device and can be managed from Settings.
DESIGN WITH MORE THAN COLOR
A nail appointment often requires more detail than “pink with flowers.”
My Nail Art lets you prepare nail-by-nail technician callouts, including:
• Placement notes
• Priority level
• Must match
• Similar is okay
• Technician choice
• Foil
• Chrome
• Glitter
• Gems
• Decals
• Marbling
• Striping
• Stamping
• Freehand artwork
• 3D embellishments
Use these options to clarify which details matter most and where your nail professional has room to adapt the design.
CREATE AN APPOINTMENT PASSPORT
When your custom set is complete, My Nail Art turns it into an Appointment Passport—a visual handoff designed to make a salon consultation clearer and faster.
An Appointment Passport can include:
• All ten labeled nails
• Left-hand and right-hand layouts
• Nail shape and length
• Selected finish
• Complete color palette
• Artwork placement
• Per-nail priorities
• Per-nail techniques
• Notes for your nail professional
• Must-have design elements
• Flexible choices
• Details you want to avoid
• Questions to discuss before the service begins
• Technician-language preference
• Original user-entered wording
The goal is to communicate visually first, supported by short, organized notes.
COMMUNICATE ACROSS LANGUAGE BARRIERS
Describing a detailed nail design can be difficult, especially when clients and nail professionals do not share the same first language.
My Nail Art helps reduce that friction by emphasizing:
• Images
• Colors
• Finger labels
• Nail-by-nail placement
• Visual priorities
• Short structured notes
• Supported interface languages
• Bilingual labels and short phrase assistance where available
Original wording remains available. Language assistance is provided as a planning aid and is not a replacement for a professional interpreter.
SHARE YOUR FINISHED DESIGN
When your design is ready, create files that are easy to use outside the extension.
