The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About MultiShare — X & LinkedIn
Stop copy-pasting between tabs. Post to X and LinkedIn in one click.
MultiShare is a lightweight Chrome extension that lets you write a single update and publish it simultaneously to X (Twitter) and LinkedIn. No more switching between tabs, copying text back and forth, or forgetting which platform you already posted to.
How it works
1. Click the Social Poster icon in your toolbar
2. Connect your X (Twitter) and LinkedIn accounts (one-time OAuth setup)
3. Type your message
4. Click "Post" — it goes to both platforms at once
Key Features
- Post to both platforms at once — or toggle individual platforms on/off per post
- Character limit awareness — a live progress bar shows you the tightest limit across your selected platforms (280 for X, 3000 for LinkedIn)
- One-click connect — secure OAuth login for both X and LinkedIn, handled entirely in the background
- Secure by design — your access tokens are never stored in the browser popup
- Privacy-first — no data collection, no tracking, no ads. Your content is posted directly to your accounts and nothing is stored permanently
Why MultiShare ?
- Save time — one composition, two platforms
- Stay consistent — your message goes out identically on X and LinkedIn
- No bloat — no scheduling, no analytics, no AI features you didn't ask for. Just posting.
Permissions Explained
- storage — stores your session token so you don't need to log in every time
- identity — required for Chrome's OAuth flow to connect X and LinkedIn
- Host permission to the API server — only the server you configure, never arbitrary websites
Requirements
- A free account on the Social Poster API server (auto-created on first use)
- Active X (Twitter) and/or LinkedIn accounts
