About Multi-language Release Notes Copier for Apple App Store Connect
New in version 1.0.7
- Larger animated progress indicators, elapsed time, language counts, and clearer next-step guidance.
- Page-readiness checks, paced retries, and more precise language-menu detection.
- Download a blank JSON template containing your draft's languages without scanning every translation. Fill it yourself or with your chosen AI tool, then import and review before saving. The extension does not send data to an AI service.
- Export imported JSON as readable text for manual copying if automation is unavailable. Empty fields preserve existing draft text.
Move your existing localized What's New and Promotional Text from a live iOS app to its next draft. Review languages side by side, adjust the proposed text, and apply your changes from one Chrome workspace.
Built for developers preparing updates in App Store Connect, this extension reduces repeated copying between version pages while keeping you in control of every save.
What you can do:
- Copy App Store release notes and Promotional Text across existing localizations.
- Compare old-version text on the left with editable proposed draft text on the right.
- Inspect currently saved draft values before replacing them.
- Watch page-loading, language-reading, saving, and verification progress.
- Refresh your preview, recheck permissions and tabs, or stop after the current language.
- Export source or proposed text as JSON or a readable text file.
- Import a JSON backup, review it against an editable draft of the same app, and apply it.
Interface languages: English, Nepali, Hindi, Spanish, French, German, Brazilian Portuguese, Arabic, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese. The interface follows Chrome automatically, with a remembered language switcher and right-to-left layout for Arabic. Interface translations are included locally and do not translate your listing text.
How it works:
1. Sign in to App Store Connect in Chrome and connect the extension when prompted.
2. Choose your live and draft version URLs, or import a JSON backup.
3. Preview every language and edit the proposed new text if needed.
4. Choose the green Save button. The extension checks current values before saving and reloads the draft to verify each update.
Temporary read errors receive bounded retries. Saved text is checked before an uncertain save is retried. Changed source text, conflicting draft edits, missing languages, or missing permissions produce a recovery message. Empty source fields preserve existing draft text unless you explicitly edit the proposed value.
Requirements: Google Chrome, Apple account access to the chosen app, and an editable target draft. Use App Store Connect's website interface in English; listing text can be in any supported language. Source languages must already exist in the draft. Existing translations are copied, not automatically translated or generated. Apple website changes can require adapter updates.
Privacy and scope: Site access is requested only for appstoreconnect.apple.com. Download access is requested only when you choose to save a file. Listing text, imported files, and proposed edits stay in your browser unless you save them to Apple or download a backup. There is no publisher-operated backend, analytics, advertising, or remotely hosted executable code.
The extension does not select builds, submit for review, release apps, or manage accounts. Independent developer tool; not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple or Google. App Store Connect and Chrome are trademarks of their respective owners.
