MonoStart

🗂️ MonoStart — your browser's new tab, reimagined as a dashboard. MonoStart replaces the empty new-tab page with a fast, fully customizable start page that puts your links, search, and everyday tools one glance away. Build the exact layout you want with a drag-and-drop grid, then resize and arrange widgets to fit how you actually work. 🧭 FEELS LIKE CHROME — ONLY BETTER MonoStart keeps everything you already know: the familiar Google search bar, your history, and the clean, instant new-tab you expect — so there's nothing to relearn. The customization sits on top, never in your way. Start minimal and keep it simple, or go full dashboard. It's your call, every step of the way. 🔒 OPEN SOURCE & PRIVACY-FIRST MonoStart is fully open source — you can read every line of code. It's built privacy-first: no account, no sign-up, no analytics, no tracking, and no servers of our own. Your layout, links, notes, and reminders are stored locally on your device. The only data that ever leaves your browser is what you type into the search box, sent to Google purely to fetch autocomplete suggestions — exactly like a normal search bar. ✨ WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT • 🧘 A clean, distraction-free home base every time you open a tab • 🎛️ Everything in one place — search, links, tasks, timers, and reminders • 🌗 Total control over layout, colors, and theme (light & dark) • 🧩 Native Chrome feel, with as much (or as little) customization as you want • 🔓 Open source and privacy-first by design 🔍 BUILT-IN GOOGLE SEARCH Search Google or type a URL right from your dashboard, with live autocomplete suggestions and quick access to your history.
