The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About MNBTools Website Analyzer
MNBTools Website Analyzer is the companion browser extension for the MNBTools Website Spam Score Checker. It performs user-initiated website crawls so MNBTools can analyze rendered webpages, technical signals, content patterns, link structure, metadata, security indicators, and other site-level evidence used to calculate a Website Spam Score and supporting risk analysis.
The extension is designed specifically for website analysis initiated by the user from MNBTools. It does not continuously monitor your browsing activity and does not crawl websites unless you start an analysis.
When an analysis begins, MNBTools Website Analyzer opens and processes pages from the website you selected. Using the browser allows the analyzer to inspect the rendered version of a webpage, including content that may be generated dynamically with JavaScript and therefore may not be visible to a standard server-side crawler.
The extension can collect website-analysis evidence such as page URLs, page titles, meta information, headings, visible content structure, internal and external links, canonical information, indexability signals, redirects, rendered HTML, technical response information, trust/contact indicators, and other signals required by the MNBTools Website Spam Score system.
The collected evidence is securely sent to MNBTools for analysis. MNBTools uses this evidence to evaluate potential spam and quality signals across the selected website and generate a Website Spam Score together with supporting findings.

User-controlled crawling
Website crawling starts only when you explicitly request an analysis through MNBTools.
The extension does not independently browse the web or analyze unrelated websites. Its website access is used specifically to crawl the domain selected for the requested Website Spam Score analysis.
Depending on the analysis profile selected in MNBTools, the extension may crawl multiple pages from the same website. This allows MNBTools to evaluate site-wide patterns instead of making a decision based on only one webpage.
The crawler follows limits supplied by MNBTools, including page limits, crawl boundaries, supported protocols, and security restrictions.
Rendered-page analysis
Many modern websites generate important content using JavaScript. Traditional HTTP crawlers may not always see the same content that appears in a real browser.
MNBTools Website Analyzer uses the browser environment to inspect rendered pages so the Website Spam Score Checker can receive more representative website evidence.
This can improve analysis of websites using JavaScript frameworks, dynamically generated navigation, client-side page content, lazy-loaded components, and other browser-rendered elements.
Security-focused crawling
The extension includes restrictions designed to keep crawling focused on legitimate public website analysis.
The crawler is designed to reject or avoid unsupported and potentially unsafe destinations such as private/local network addresses and non-public targets.
Website analysis is bounded and tied to an analysis session created by MNBTools.
