The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

How It Works
The extension periodically queries the configured Miniflux server to update the toolbar badge.
When the extension icon is clicked, it opens either the standard Miniflux interface or the enhanced reader, depending on the selected option. It can open a new tab or focus an existing Miniflux tab.
The enhanced reader communicates with Miniflux through its API. Changes to reading status, bookmarks, feeds, and categories are written back to the user’s Miniflux account and remain visible in the standard Miniflux interface and other Miniflux clients.
Optional automatic-read filters can mark articles as read when their titles contain user-defined words or phrases. Matching is case-insensitive, and the articles remain stored in Miniflux.
