Mes trouvailles

Mes trouvailles keeps what you find online — and the exact moment you found it. An article you have no time to read right now. A video where someone explains, at 14:30, the setting you have been looking for over three weeks. One click on the extension, and it is filed in your account. WHAT THE EXTENSION DOES • Save the open page. One click records its address and its title. • Note the exact moment in a YouTube video. Playback pauses, the timestamp is saved, and you write your note without losing your place. • Come back to the right second. From the application, your note takes you to that exact moment in the video, not to its beginning. • A keyboard shortcut. Alt + Shift + N pauses the video and opens the note window without leaving the keyboard. The shortcut can be changed. • Drafts that hold. A note you started and left, a network drop, a tab closed too fast: the draft stays on your device and is sent as soon as it can be. • An Activity screen. Drafts to finish, uploads to check and your five most recent saves, newest first. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO • It does not watch your browsing. It reads the tab at the moment you click, never before, never after. • It does not read your other tabs, and never activates itself on a site. • It downloads no code. Everything that runs is inside the package you install. • Your password never goes through the extension. You type it on a Mes trouvailles page, and it goes straight to the authentication service. FRENCH AND ENGLISH The extension follows your Chrome interface language: French when Chrome is in French, English otherwise. Dates follow the browser's actual region. Nothing to configure. YOU NEED A MES TROUVAILLES ACCOUNT The extension is the way into the Mes trouvailles application, where your finds are filed, searchable and available from any device. Creating an account is free at https://app.mes-trouvailles.fr
