The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Merchant API Reporter
Merchant API Reporter turns the Google Merchant API into a point-and-click reporting dashboard. Instead of writing Python scripts or running Colab notebooks, you load your service account key once and pull competitive intelligence, pricing, and performance data straight from your own Merchant Center account — then export it to Excel, CSV, or JSON.
WHAT YOU CAN PULL
Best-Selling Products — the top product clusters on Google Shopping for any country and category, with rank movement, relative demand, and whether your inventory carries them. Spot rising products you don't stock yet.
Best-Selling Brands — the same ranking logic at brand level, for assortment and buying decisions.
Price Competitiveness — your prices next to Google's benchmark price for comparable offers.
Price Insights — Google's suggested sale prices with predicted impression, click, and conversion changes.
Product Performance — clicks, impressions, CTR, and conversions over any date range, segmented by offer ID, title, brand, marketing method, category, or product type.
Product Status & Issues — eligibility per product with item-level disapprovals summarized into a single readable column.
Custom MCQL — write any Merchant Center Query Language query the Reports API accepts.
BUILT FOR REAL WORK
One-click export to Excel, CSV, or JSON. Excel files include a second sheet recording the exact queries, account ID, and timestamp — ready to hand to a client.
Prices are converted from micros to real currency values automatically, with the currency in its own column.
Product category autosuggest with all 5,595 Google product taxonomy categories bundled in — type "dog food" or a numeric ID instead of hunting through a taxonomy file.
Best-seller date ranges snap to valid report dates (Mondays for weekly, the 1st for monthly), so you stop getting silent zero-row results.
Live progress bar showing queries, pages, and rows as they stream in.
Guided one-time developer registration, with plain-English explanations for every error code Google returns.
Tooltips on every field, metric, and segment, plus a built-in setup guide.
Run history so you can see what you queried and when.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Everything runs in your browser. Your service account key is stored locally and is only ever sent to Google's own OAuth endpoint. There are no third-party servers, no data collection, and no account with us required.
WHAT YOU NEED
A Google Merchant Center account with Admin access
A free Google Cloud project with the Merchant API enabled
A service account JSON key added as an Admin user in Merchant Center
The built-in guide walks you through all of it — about ten minutes, once.
