memoru – Transcripts

Memoru turns your Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams meetings into a transcript you can search, review and share, so you can focus on the conversation instead of taking notes. How it works 1. Install memoru and sign in. 2. Join a meeting in Google Meet, Zoom (web) or Microsoft Teams (web). 3. memoru saves the live captions to your account as the meeting goes on. 4. Open your transcript in the memoru web app afterwards. What you get - Live transcripts from Google Meet, Zoom Web and Microsoft Teams Web - A small in-meeting panel with a live preview, caption language and an on/off switch - Google Meet chat saved separately and clearly labeled - Optional audio recording, only when you press Record - Transcripts that keep saving if your connection drops, then sync when it returns - A recovery page to export unsynced captions as TXT or JSON, or delete them Audio recording is always your choice memoru never records on its own. Press Record in the meeting panel, use the toolbar icon, or press Alt+Shift+Y on the meeting tab. A recording is the meeting tab's sound plus your microphone. memoru never records video, your camera or your screen, and recording stops when you leave the meeting. Your data - memoru only reads meetings on the sites you approve. Access to Meet, Zoom and Teams is requested separately. - Captions are read from the meeting page and saved to your memoru account only while you are signed in. Without signing in you see a live preview and nothing is saved. - Audio is uploaded to your memoru account and kept until you delete it. - memoru's analytics never include transcript text, audio or other meeting content. Good to know - Transcription uses each platform's own captions, so captions must be available in the meeting. In Teams, turn on captions and pick their language. - AI summaries are generated in the memoru web app, not in the extension. - memoru is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, Zoom or Microsoft.
