MD to DOCX (Offline)

MD to DOCX (Offline) is a Markdown editor and document converter for notes, AI-generated text, tables, formulas and structured writing. Write in Markdown, review the live preview and export a document that is ready to share. Core Markdown conversion runs locally inside the Chrome extension. Optional AI tools use an online service only when you choose them. WRITE, PREVIEW AND EXPORT • Edit Markdown and see the rendered result side by side. • Export DOCX, PDF, Markdown or plain text. • Work with headings, lists, links, tables and common LaTeX formulas. • Import .md, .txt, .docx and .pdf files. • Import PDF text locally, with packaged offline OCR for scanned pages. • Review PDF imports before inserting them in Markdown Live Editor. • Export A4 PDF with selectable text and a preview of the file to download. • Optionally include source Markdown in an exported PDF; this is off by default. • Attach a reference DOCX to adopt its document formatting. • Set fonts, margins, line spacing, headings, page numbers and table alignment. CAPTURE AND REUSE The Markdown Toolbox works on supported AI websites: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok and Perplexity. • Capture selected content and bring it into Markdown Live Editor. • Save reusable prompts and organize them in folders. • Build and manage prompt chains for repeatable workflows. • Use prompt and chain quick insert on supported websites. OPTIONAL ONLINE AI TOOLS • Humanize selected text. • Refine selected text in a chosen style. • Generate a reusable prompt chain from a goal, saved instructions and example files. • Answer clarifying questions before creating a chain, or continue without answering every question. • Request AI recovery for selected PDF page areas when local extraction needs help. These tools are separate from the offline converter. When you request an AI action, the content needed for that action is sent to the developer backend and then to OpenAI. Availability and usage limits apply to the online service. PDF AI recovery requires consent. It sends JPEG images and local OCR hints for the page areas you select. Selecting all pages sends images of all selected page areas; the original PDF file itself is not uploaded. A QUIETER WORKSPACE Choose a light, dark or system appearance and adjust the interface palette and contrast. Clay is the warm terracotta palette selected for new users. Interface colors do not change exported document formatting. Optional kaomoji reactions briefly celebrate successful actions, such as a document export or a saved prompt. They are disabled by default and can be enabled in settings. The interface offers Ukrainian, English, German, French, Polish, Russian, Swedish, Norwegian, Italian and Czech. New installations start in English. Existing language and appearance preferences are preserved. PRIVACY The core Markdown to DOCX conversion workflow runs locally in the browser extension. The extension does not sell user data or use it for advertising. Optional online tools process only the content needed for the action you request.
