About Math for Google Forms

Create Google Forms quizzes with math equations and LaTeX. Google Forms has no equation editor. Fractions turn into "3/4", exponents into "x^2", and chemical formulas lose their subscripts. This extension fixes that. Describe a quiz, upload a worksheet, or import a Google Doc, and get a ready-to-use Google Forms quiz with math that looks right. No screenshots. No pasting equation images one by one. No LaTeX knowledge needed. WHAT IT DOES • Adds math equations to Google Forms questions and answer options • Turns a prompt, PDF, photo, Google Doc, Google Slides or Google Sheet into a quiz • Writes fractions, exponents, square roots, integrals, limits, matrices and Greek letters properly • Writes chemical formulas and equations properly: H₂O, H₂SO₄, Fe³⁺, 2H₂ + O₂ → 2H₂O • Adds the questions to the Google Form you have open, or creates a new form • Sets the answer key for you, so the quiz grades itself HOW TO USE IT 1. Open a Google Form, or any tab if you want a new form. 2. Click the extension to open the side panel. 3. Choose where your questions come from: a prompt, a file upload, Google Docs, Google Slides or Google Sheets. 4. Pick the quiz type (multiple choice, checkboxes, short answer or mixed), the number of questions and the difficulty. 5. Click Generate, or Append when a form is already open. Your questions appear in the form in seconds, with the equations in place. MATH THAT LOOKS RIGHT Each equation is shown in the clearest way Google Forms allows: • Simple math becomes real text: x², ½, √x, π, ≤, ≠, 90°. Students can read it, search it, and screen readers can read it aloud. • Complex math becomes a sharp image: stacked fractions, the quadratic formula, integrals with limits, matrices. The extension chooses for you, question by question. Words stay in the question title and the equation goes underneath, so nothing is shown twice. TURN YOUR WORKSHEETS INTO GOOGLE FORMS Already have a worksheet, past paper or test? Upload it as a PDF or a photo, or import it from Google Docs, Slides or Sheets. • If the file already has questions, they are copied into the form with the same wording and numbers. • If the file is notes or a chapter, new questions are written to test it. • If the file has an answer key, it is used. If not, each question is solved for you. Equations in your file stay as equations. The file is read as it looks on the page, so fractions and formulas are not scrambled the way copy and paste scrambles them. OR JUST DESCRIBE THE QUIZ Type what you need in plain words: • "10 questions on solving quadratic equations" • "Balancing chemical equations, grade 10" • "Derivatives using the chain rule, hard" • "Moles, molar mass and stoichiometry" You can also paste LaTeX straight into your prompt, like \frac{1}{2}, \sqrt{x} or \int_0^1 x^2 dx, and it will appear as proper math. BUILT FOR TEACHERS • Self-grading quizzes: correct answers and points are set automatically • Short-answer questions accept common versions of the answer, like 3/4 and 0.75 • Explanations are added as answer feedback, so students see why an answer is right • Choose easy, medium or hard • Multiple choice, checkboxes, short answer or a mix • Add to an existing form without touching the questions already in it • Students need nothing installed. They open the form as usual. SUBJECTS • Maths: arithmetic, fractions, algebra, quadratic equations, functions, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, matrices • Chemistry: chemical formulas, balancing equations, ions and charges, moles, stoichiometry, redox • Physics: formulas, units like kg·m²/s², vectors, kinetic energy, motion • Any other subject: literature, history and language quizzes work too, as plain text PRIVACY • The extension only works on Google Forms pages and on MyQuizGPT. • It only adds questions to forms you choose. It never reads your students' responses. • Files you upload are only used to write your quiz. MyQuizGPT does not store them. • You sign in with your Google account. You can disconnect it at any time. PLANS Free to start, with a daily allowance of quizzes. Upgrade to MyQuizGPT Pro for more quizzes every day.
