Matavar

Matavar adds a row of sender avatars to your Gmail toolbar, right above your message list. See who's in your inbox at a glance One avatar per unique sender in whatever you're viewing — inbox, a label, drafts, or search results. Senders who've been waiting longest appear first. Click to filter Click someone's avatar to show only their emails in this view. Click again to go back to the full list. Works in labels and search too. Hover to highlight Hover an avatar to highlight every message row where that person appears. Smart layout Avatars overlap to save space. If they don't all fit, a +N button shows the rest in a dropdown. Profile photos Uses Google's profile lookup while you're signed in to Gmail, with letter and favicon fallbacks when a photo isn't available. Privacy No account needed. Nothing is sent to the developer. Runs only on mail.google.com. No extra permissions.
