About MarkLive – Markdown & Mermaid Viewer
MarkLive turns any Markdown file you open in Chrome into a clean, beautiful page — with live Mermaid diagrams that look exactly like mermaid.live.
Just open a .md file (drag it into Chrome or open file:///…/notes.md) and MarkLive does the rest. No uploads, no accounts — everything runs locally in your browser.
★ MERMAID DIAGRAMS, DONE RIGHT
• Flowchart, sequence, class, state, ER, Gantt, pie, mindmap, timeline, git graph, quadrant, user journey, XY chart, sankey, block, kanban, architecture, C4 and more
• Uses the latest Mermaid engine (same as mermaid.live), so diagrams render exactly as expected
• Zoom (Ctrl + scroll or buttons), drag to pan, double-click to fit, fullscreen view
• Download any diagram as SVG or PNG, copy its code, or open it in mermaid.live
• Animated "flow" mode for connectors and a smooth draw-in animation
• Clear error messages when a diagram has a syntax error
★ BEAUTIFUL MARKDOWN
• GitHub-flavored Markdown: tables, task lists, alerts (NOTE, TIP, WARNING…), front matter
• Syntax highlighting for 190+ languages with one-click copy
• Images next to your file just work — even with spaces in the name, Windows paths and Obsidian ![[image.png]] embeds — with captions and click-to-enlarge
• Table of contents sidebar that follows your scroll, reading progress bar and reading time
★ MADE FOR DAILY USE
• Toggle the raw Markdown source with one key (S)
• Reload the file keeping your position (R), optional auto-reload while you edit
• Choose diagram theme, content width and text size
• Print / Save as PDF with a clean layout
