Manati phone

Manati phone is the softphone and messaging tool for staff of Manati Alternate Student Funding. It lives in a Chrome side panel next to the applications console (console.manati.co.za) and lets an agent call an applicant with one click, and answer their WhatsApp messages and email from the same screen. What it does - Registers the agent's TaskFlow extension with Manati's telephone exchange (the Voiceflow PBX) using the agent's existing TaskFlow sign-in. No passwords are stored. - Adds a "Call now" button to the applications console that hands the number and the application to the phone. - Opens a call record in TaskFlow before the call rings, and closes it afterwards with ring time, talk time and the reason the call ended, so the recording, the cockpit and the agent's call history all work as they do for TaskFlow's own phone. - Offers TaskFlow's call outcomes (dispositions) after each call, including call-backs. - Rings for inbound calls whether or not the panel is open: desktop notification, a RING badge on the toolbar icon and a small Answer / Reject window. - Keeps running in the background and reconnects on its own if the connection to the exchange drops. - Adds a reply box to the console's conversation view: WhatsApp (free text inside WhatsApp's 24-hour window, Manati's approved templates outside it) and email, both sent through TaskFlow and filed on the application. New replies and delivery ticks appear while the conversation is open, and opening it marks the conversation read in TaskFlow. Who can use it Only Manati staff. The phone does nothing until the person is signed in to TaskFlow with a Manati account that has a telephone extension, and the exchange only accepts connections from Manati's offices. The listing is private to the manati.co.za Google Workspace and the extension is installed on staff computers by Manati's administrators. Privacy The extension sends information to two places only, Manati's TaskFlow and Manati's telephone exchange. It contains no analytics or tracking and loads no code from the internet.
