Mail After Dark

Mail After Dark adds a simple dark-mode toggle to Gmail and other browser-based email readers. Turn dark mode on for your webmail website and your preference is remembered across visits and browser restarts. Switch it off to restore the website’s original appearance. Features include per-website settings, local preference storage, keyboard-accessible controls, and preserved photo and video colours. All features are free, with no subscriptions, email collection, or analytics. Some branded emails and separately hosted embedded readers may require styling adjustments. This extension supports browser-based webmail, not native desktop email applications. Independent extension, not affiliated with Google or Microsoft.
