About Luma Study Companion
Luma Study Companion explains what is on your screen. Open it beside any page you are studying in Chrome, ask a question, and Luma explains it in the language your exam board uses.
Luma is an AI study partner for GCSE and A-Level students, built on the exam board specification. It is strongest in maths, physics, chemistry and biology.
How to use it
1. Sign in with your Luma account.
2. Open any page you are studying: a revision site, an online textbook or a past paper.
3. Click the Luma icon to open the side panel.
4. Highlight something, or just ask "explain this". Luma reads the page and explains it.
You can also attach a PDF or Word document, press Listen to hear an answer, or speak your question. In maths and the sciences, Luma works through the method step by step and shows the final answer when you choose to reveal it.
Your privacy
Luma only reads the page when you press Ask, never in the background. Logic Labs does not save the page or your documents, and the extension has no analytics, tracking or advertising. Details at www.logiclabs.uk/luma/your-data.
For paid Luma plans
The extension is part of the paid Luma plans (Ignite, Blaze and Inferno) and uses the same daily allowance as Luma on the web and in the app. Plans are at www.logiclabs.uk/luma.
Luma is an AI and can make mistakes, so check anything important with your teacher. Made by Logic Labs in the UK. AQA, Edexcel and OCR are trademarks of their respective owners; Luma and Logic Labs are not affiliated with any exam board.
