Locatra – Smart Locator Automation

Locatra helps QA engineers and developers write end-to-end tests faster. Point at any element to get locators that are ranked, checked for uniqueness against the live page, and ready to paste, or record a flow and get a runnable test. INSPECT ANY ELEMENT • Hover and click an element to see ranked locators: test id, role and accessible name, label, placeholder, text, CSS and XPath. • Every locator is checked against the page, so you can see whether it matches exactly one element. • Works inside iframes (including cross-origin payment frames) and open shadow DOM. • Move to the parent or child element with ▲ / ▼, or press Alt+Shift+E on any page. YOUR FRAMEWORK, YOUR LANGUAGE • Playwright, Selenium, Cypress and WebdriverIO, in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Java and C#. • Locators read naturally in each framework. Selenium gets By.id("email") when the element has an id, instead of a long XPath. RECORD AND REPLAY • Record clicks, typing, selects, checkboxes, keys and assertions into a complete test script (Alt+Shift+K). • Replay the flow in the page step by step to check it before you export it. • Passwords, one-time codes and card numbers are never recorded: the test reads them from environment variables. • Typed values can become test data, and suggested assertions (page changed, message shown) are one click away. PAGE OBJECTS, SELECTOR LAB AND HEALTH CHECK • Export a Page Object class for a form or a whole page. • Selector Lab: paste a CSS selector, XPath or Playwright locator and see what it matches. • Watch the locators your tests rely on and re-check them with one click when the page changes.
