LocatorLocal helps testers and developers write stable locators faster. Click any element on a page and get locators that were checked against the live page: each one shows how many elements it matches and a strength score, so you pick a locator that is unique and unlikely to break. WHAT IT DOES Verified locators — Playwright (getByRole, getByLabel, getByPlaceholder, getByTestId, getByText), CSS and XPath. Match counts follow Playwright's own matching rules. Works with Shadow DOM and same-origin iframes. "Make it stronger" — explains why a locator is weak (repeated names, icon-only buttons, generated ids) and what to change in the markup. Scan page — lists every visible interactive element with its best locator. Check a locator — paste any Playwright locator and see how many elements it matches; hover a result to highlight it. Copy as locator or as a ready test step. Code in Playwright JS/TS, Python, Java, or Selenium Python/Java. Custom test-id attribute — if your team uses data-qa or data-test-subj (testIdAttribute in playwright.config), set it once. Exact or loose name matching, test-id or role preferred on ties.
