About Llamar.ai
Llamar shows a clear AI summary of YouTube videos, BBC News articles, and Tagesschau news in Chrome's side panel, with the original source one click away. Search works from any page.
- Page: the public summary of the page you are on, with its sources and dates, or a note when there is none yet.
- Related: more published summaries on the same topic.
- Search: search everything published by words, by meaning, or both.
- Transcript: load a public YouTube video's captions, then copy them or save them as a text file. This sends nothing to Llamar.
- Contribute: with contributing on, Llamar gets the address of public BBC News and Tagesschau articles and YouTube videos that have no summary yet (for videos, also their captions from YouTube's transcript) and may publish one anyone can read. On Tagesschau this covers ordinary text news on www.tagesschau.de, not regional pages, liveblogs or media pages. When review is busy, an address can wait up to two hours.
- Settings: turn contributing off, only show summaries, or go offline.
Llamar asks before it sends anything. While the panel is open, it checks each page you visit for a summary by sending a fingerprint of the page address, not the page itself. No account needed. Summaries are AI-generated, so check the source.
