Livid Recorder

Livid Recorder is a screen recorder that lives in your toolbar. No account needed. Record your whole screen, a single window, or one browser tab. Add your camera as a movable bubble and your microphone, or leave either off. A three second countdown gives you time to get ready, and you can pause, restart a take, or stop from the toolbar, from the camera bubble, or with a keyboard shortcut. When you stop, your recording opens for review. Play it back, give it a name, and download it as an MP4. Recordings are held in your browser until you delete them, and the extension shows you how much space they are using. If you use Livid, you can connect your account and send a recording straight to your library instead of downloading it, choosing the folder and privacy setting as you go. Uploads pick up where they left off if your connection drops. Connecting an account is entirely optional and everything above works without one. Your recordings stay on your computer unless you choose to upload one. Livid Recorder asks for no access to the websites you visit, has no analytics and no third-party tracking, and talks to nothing except Livid.
