The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About LinkWorld
LinkWorld runs your company's AI team. Some of what that team needs to see lives only behind your own logins - your shop's admin, your ad accounts, your Search Console. This extension lets the LinkWorld desktop client on your computer read those pages in your own Chrome, where you are already signed in. No passwords are entered, nothing is clicked or typed for you.
How it works:
- Your LinkWorld heads ask for a page. Your desktop client opens it in a Chrome tab group named "LinkWorld".
- The first time, this extension asks you once: Allow. After that it connects without asking.
- Only tabs inside the "LinkWorld" group are visible to the client. Drag a tab out, close the group, or disconnect from the extension icon - and it ends.
- Which websites a head may open at all is decided in LinkWorld (Settings > Your browser), per domain, revocable any time.
Requires the LinkWorld desktop client (app.linkworld.ai > Settings > Desktop Client). Based on Microsoft's Playwright extension (Apache-2.0).
