The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About LinkLens — DoFollow, NoFollow & Canonical Checker
Know exactly what kind of link you're looking at, before you pitch, before you publish, before you build.
Link Type Checker instantly scans any webpage and highlights every external link by type: DoFollow, NoFollow, Sponsored, or UGC. Just click the extension icon and the page is analysed in seconds. No setup, no configuration, no impact on page loading.
What it does
Click the extension icon on any page to instantly highlight all external links - colour coded by type directly on the page. Green for DoFollow, red for NoFollow, orange for Sponsored, purple for UGC. Each link shows a clear label so you can see at a glance what's passing equity and what isn't.
The popup gives you a full breakdown: total external link count, counts by type, and a scrollable list of every external link on the page with its anchor text and destination URL. Filter by link type to focus on just the ones you care about.
Export the full link list to CSV in one click - useful for audits, client reporting, and competitor analysis.
Canonical tag inspector
The extension icon changes colour on every page you visit based on the canonical tag status - no need to open the popup. Green means the canonical points to itself, orange means it points elsewhere, red means there's no canonical tag at all. Hover the icon to see exactly where the canonical points.
Built for SEOs and digital PR professionals
Designed for anyone who regularly needs to evaluate external links on pages — whether you're checking coverage placements, auditing competitor backlink profiles, reviewing press release pickups, or vetting sites before outreach. The session history tab keeps a log of every page you've checked, so you can compare results across a crawl session without losing track.
Features:
-Instant link scan on icon click - no toggle required
-Colour coded highlights directly on the page (DoFollow / NoFollow / Sponsored / UGC)
-Full word labels on every highlighted link - no cryptic abbreviations
-Hover any link for a tooltip showing the full URL, rel attribute, and whether it opens in a new tab
-Live stats panel with link counts by type
-Scrollable link list with anchor text and URLs
-Filter by link type to show only what you need
-Export all external links to CSV with one click
-Canonical tag status shown on the icon at all times
-Session history - remembers the last 20 pages you checked
-Subdomain-aware - treats login.site.com as internal, same as site.com
-Skips internal links and page anchors automatically
-Option to disable on search engines
-Zero impact on page loading - nothing runs until you click the icon
Optional: Live canonical icon whilst browsing
By default, the canonical tag is checked when you open the popup. If you'd like the extension icon to update automatically as you browse — showing green, orange or red without needing to click — you can enable this in Settings. You'll be shown a one-time Chrome permission prompt to allow it. This runs a lightweight read-only script that only checks the canonical tag on each page. No data is collected or transmitted.
