The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About linkedinto.cv: CV builder for LinkedIn profiles
Your LinkedIn profile, as a CV worth sending.
Open the side panel on any LinkedIn profile. linkedinto.cv reads what is on the
page, roles, education, skills, certifications and projects, and renders a designed
PDF with real, selectable text. Your profile never leaves your computer.
WHY NOT JUST EXPORT FROM LINKEDIN?
You can. It produces a plain document in LinkedIn's own layout, with no control over
what appears and no way to leave anything out.
• Vector, not a screenshot. Every word is selectable and searchable, so an applicant
tracking system reads it as text, because it is text. Headings are drawn as words,
never letter-spaced into E X P E R I E N C E.
• You choose what goes in. Tick entries in or out one by one, or drop a whole
section's descriptions to fit two pages instead of three.
• Nothing is uploaded. Reading and rendering both happen in your browser. There is
no account, and nothing from your profile is ever transmitted.
THREE STEPS, ABOUT A MINUTE
1. Open a profile, yours or a candidate's, and press Extract.
2. Edit and choose. Every field is editable. Where LinkedIn only previewed a
section, press "Get all" and the full list is fetched from its own page.
3. Download the PDF. Selectable text, sane margins, and a filename that makes sense.
FIVE LAYOUTS, THEN MAKE IT YOURS
• Gutter, Ledger, Broadsheet, Column and Masthead, each taken from a printed CV
• Set your own ink, accent and paper, and pick from five typefaces
• Fits on one page: it tightens spacing, then type, then the longest descriptions,
in that order, and tells you which of those it had to do
• A live preview of the actual page, redrawn as you edit
• Import a LinkedIn "Save to PDF" export instead, which carries email and phone
• Save a profile on your machine and come back to it without extracting again
START FREE, PAY WHEN IT IS USEFUL
The first CV is free. After that, credits: 10 for $19 or 50 for $49, one-time and
never expiring. There is no subscription. Payments are handled by Stripe.
PRIVACY
Everything happens on your computer. The extension has no server, no analytics and
no account, and loads no remote code. Your profile data is never uploaded anywhere.
The only network request it can make is to check and deduct a credit, and only if
you have bought some. On the free tier it makes none at all.

FEEDBACK
A profile that imported wrong, or something missing? "Send feedback" in the account
menu writes to julian@linkedinto.cv, which is one person's mailbox, not a ticket
queue. The account menu also has a Diagnostics view that explains exactly what an
extraction matched, and it stays on your machine unless you paste it in yourself.
