The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About LinkComment

LinkComment: open a side panel on any page to read and post public comments for that URL. How to use 1. Click the toolbar icon (or Alt+Shift+L) to open the side panel. 2. See comments for the current page and post your own. 3. When the side panel is closed, the extension makes no network requests. Data & privacy (see also the privacy policy) • While the side panel is open, the current page URL is sent to www.linkcomment.com so we can load that page’s comments—even if you never post. • While the side panel is closed, nothing is sent. • URLs that look like they contain tokens, sessions, or signatures are never sent; those pages show no board. • Before account login, a local device id keeps your commenting identity; you can set a nickname.
