LingoPing helps you build a German vocabulary a few minutes at a time, right in your browser. Instead of long study sessions, Echo (the little bat) pings you to review a handful of cards at the moment you are most likely to forget them. WHAT YOU GET • Ready-made decks. Start with the 100 most common German words. Follow a deck and Echo asks you about its next word whenever you have nothing else to learn: "I know it", "Not now" or "Learn it". More decks are added over time, without updating the extension. • Add any word while you browse. Select a word on a web page, right-click and choose "Add to LingoPing". A complete card appears a few seconds later. Words you add yourself always come first. • Cards that teach the grammar too. Every noun shows its article (colour-coded: blue for der, red for die, green for das) and its plural. Every verb shows its forms in all tenses. Each card has a natural example sentence, a picture and pronunciation you can listen to. Whole phrases and short sentences work as well. • Meanings in your language. Choose English, Arabic, Russian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Spanish, Persian, Polish or Romanian, and switch for a single review whenever you like. • Your own decks. Make a deck by hand, or import a word list (.txt, .csv, Excel) or subtitles (.srt, .vtt). Nothing is added to your learning until you choose it. • Smart review timing. A proven spaced-repetition method schedules each card for when you are about to forget it. You decide how many new words you take on per day. • Words you already know stay out of the way. Mark a word as known and it never shows up again, in any of its forms. • Your dashboard on the web. Manage your decks, cards, known words and settings at app.lingoping.com, on any computer. The extension is where you review and add words while you browse. Echo gives you a short tour the first time. • Your own notes. Write a note on the front or the back of any card, for example a memory hook. Only you see it. • Your progress everywhere. Sign in with your Google account and your cards, decks, reviews, notes and known words stay in sync between your computers and the website. LingoPing teaches German; more languages may follow.
