Learn a language with the YouTube videos that you like. 📚 LingoMingo shows two subtitles at the same time: one in the language that you learn, and one in your own language. Click a word to see what it means. Save it, and review it later. 🎬 DUAL SUBTITLES ON YOUTUBE • See the subtitles in your study language and in your own language together. • Go to the previous line, repeat the line, or go to the next line with one click, or with the keys A, S and D. • Auto-pause stops the video after each line, so you have time to read it. • The subtitle list next to the video shows all lines. Click a line to go to it. 💬 WORD POPUP • Click a word in the subtitles to see its meaning in that sentence. • Mark the word as Known, Learn or Skip. 🎨 VOCABULARY COLORS • Set your vocabulary level one time. LingoMingo then shows the words that you know in green, the words to learn next in orange, and rare words in a darker color. 🧠 SAVE AND REVIEW • Save words and full subtitle lines (phrases). Each word keeps its sentence and its video. • Review your words with flashcards. The FSRS spaced-repetition scheduler shows each word again at the right time. • Export your saved items as a CSV or JSON file, for example to use them in other flashcard apps. 📺 FIND VIDEOS • The Media page shows the newest videos of YouTube channels in 18 study languages. • Badges show which videos have human-made subtitles. • Pin your favorite channels to the top of the list. 🌍 LANGUAGES Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Hebrew, Hindi, Italian, Korean, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish and Ukrainian. Right-to-left languages show correctly. 🤖 AI TRANSLATION The word popup uses AI. When a video has no human-made subtitles in your language, AI also translates the subtitles. Add your own API key from a supported AI provider, or use a local AI model on your computer without a key. The Settings page shows the list of supported providers. Your AI provider can charge you for its use. 🔒 PRIVACY • No account, no server, no analytics, no ads. • Your settings, saved words and API keys stay in your browser. • Subtitle lines and the words that you open go only to the AI provider that you select.
