Limit Social Media

Pause Before Social is a lightweight productivity extension for Chrome that helps you control time spent on social media by showing a short pause with a countdown timer before selected social media websites open. Instead of opening social media automatically out of habit, the extension creates a brief moment of reflection. This small pause helps you decide whether you really want to continue, making it easier to reduce mindless scrolling, improve screen time awareness, and browse more intentionally. Pause Before Social is not a strict website blocker. It is a simple mindful browsing tool that adds a short delay before opening distracting sites, helping you make a conscious choice before entering social media. How it works: ✨ Shows a short pause before selected social media websites open ✨ Displays a simple countdown timer ✨ Helps reduce mindless scrolling ✨ Encourages mindful browsing and better time control ✨ Works automatically once enabled ✨ Stays lightweight, simple, and unobtrusive Why use Pause Before Social: Social media is often opened without thinking.
