About Lazy Admin

Click less. Nap more. Lazy Admin puts twelve jobs that eat an admin's day into one Chrome tab. It works through the Salesforce session you already have open, so there is no login screen and nothing to set up. SCHEDULED JOBS: WHEN CAN I RUN IT? Every scheduled job on one timeline, with a bar for each run to come and each run that has happened, and a row that shows how many of the 5 batch slots are in use. Green bands mark the stretches where nothing else needs a batch slot. Type the batch class you want to schedule (or how long it takes) and "Find windows" lists the quiet times to run it. The week at a glance shows the busiest hours. Cron expressions are put into plain words ("Every weekday at 04:00"), in your org's time zone. Take the whole list as Excel. Read-only: nothing is changed in your org. APEX JOBS Batch, queueable, future and scheduled Apex in one list: running and waiting jobs first, with a progress bar for batches, who submitted them, when they started and how long they took. See the batch slots in use and the jobs held in the flex queue. Repeated runs of the same class are grouped, with "Show runs" to open them. When a job fails, read Salesforce's own message in plain words. Filter by status, type, person, time range or class name. The page refreshes itself every 15 seconds. Take the list as Excel. Read-only: it does not start, abort or delete jobs. WHAT USES THIS? Type an object and field, such as Account.Type, and see the flows, validation rules, Apex classes and triggers, reports and dashboards that use it, before you change or delete it. Every source says how far it could see, so a zero is never mistaken for "not read". Certain and possible matches are told apart. An impact badge (Low, Medium or High) says why, and a delete warning names what would break. For a custom field, Salesforce's dependency index adds what only it knows (page layouts, workflow rules and similar). For a standard field that index cannot be asked, so Lazy Admin says so and never calls the result safe to delete. Copy the list or save it as CSV. Your last ten lookups are kept for next time. USER ADOPTION Every user on a world map, shaded by how many people are in each country. Click a country to filter to it. Counts for Active users, Inactive users, Logged in today, the last 7 days, the last 30 days and Never logged in, a 30-day adoption rate, and insights on licences you pay for and nobody uses. Filter by status, region, country, profile, role and last login. Login history for today, 7 or 30 days, with the applications, browsers and platforms behind it. Take the users (and the logins of the period) away as Excel. Works for 100,000 users. Read-only. USERS & ACCESS Every user with their permission sets, permission set groups, public groups and queues in one table. Sort, search and filter any way you like, and add any User field, custom fields included, as a column. Works on orgs with 100,000 users or more. Download what you see as CSV. Switch Edit on to add many users to a permission set, group or queue at once, or to change User fields in the table. Production orgs ask you to confirm first. LOGIN AS Find a person and open the org as them in a new tab with Salesforce's own login-as link, to see what a user sees or to reproduce the problem they reported. Production orgs ask you to confirm first. Inactive people, and yourself, are refused with the reason. SHARING VIEW Paste a record Id or link and see who it is shared with and why: owner, manual shares, teams, sharing rules, role hierarchy, profiles and permission sets with View All or Modify All, and the org-wide default. Pick a person to see what they can do with the record and which routes give it to them. CUSTOM SETTINGS Lists every Custom Setting, previews the records, and exports the ones you pick to one Excel workbook with one tab per setting. TURN OFF Tick the flows and validation rules you want off before a data load or migration, review them, switch them off, and turn them all back on afterwards. Managed-package items are shown but locked. BULK JOBS The jobs Setup lists under Monitor Bulk Data Load Jobs, Bulk API 1.0 and 2.0, newest first, with the 24-hour batch quota. Open a job to read Salesforce's error message, group failed rows by reason, and save the job or the whole list as Excel. Read-only. QUERY Write SOQL against your records or against setup and code (Tooling API), with suggestions from your org's own fields, "did you mean" help, and a table you can sort, filter and copy as CSV, JSON or into Sheets. XML GENERATOR Pick metadata from your org and get a ready package.xml or destructiveChanges.xml. See when each component changed and who changed it, import an existing file to edit it, and copy or download the result. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Runs in your browser, using your own Salesforce session and your own permissions. Does not collect passwords, and sends no org data anywhere except to your org. No account, no analytics, no ads, no outside map or other service. Lazy Admin is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Salesforce. It works with Salesforce orgs you can already log in to.
