Label Notifier for Gmail

Do you use Gmail filters to skip the inbox and sort emails straight into labels? Then you know the problem: Gmail only shows unread counts for your inbox. New emails in your labels go unnoticed unless you keep the sidebar expanded and check it manually. Label Notifier for Gmail fixes that. WHAT IT DOES - Unread counter on the "Mail" icon in Gmail's left sidebar, even when the menu is collapsed - Unread counter on the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar - Desktop notifications for new emails, including sender and subject. Click to open the label directly - Popup overview of all labels with unread emails SMART BY DEFAULT - Monitors all your Gmail labels automatically. No setup needed - Only counts emails that are NOT in your inbox, so you are only alerted to mail you would otherwise miss - Emails with multiple labels are counted and notified only once - Exclude labels you don't care about, or add labels manually - Supports multiple Google accounts and a custom check interval PRIVACY FIRST - No external servers, no tracking, no analytics - No OAuth or Google account permissions. The extension uses your existing Gmail session in Chrome - Reads only the number, subject and sender of unread emails in your labels. Everything stays in your browser HOW TO GET STARTED 1. Install the extension 2. Open Gmail once so your labels are detected 3. Done. New emails in your labels will show up as counters and notifications Label Notifier for Gmail is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google LLC.
