knowb4usign — Read what you sign

Every signup form, every cookie banner, every software install asks you to accept Terms of Service that you'd need a law degree and 40 free minutes to actually read. So you click "I agree" and hope for the best. knowb4usign reads it for you. In seconds. In plain English. WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY KNOW BEFORE CLICKING "I AGREE" • What you're really agreeing to — your concrete obligations, in language a human can understand • Hidden traps — auto-renewal, mandatory arbitration, data sharing with N partners, content licensing of your uploads, perpetual licenses on your photos, and other terms most people don't expect • Rights you keep — cancellation windows, refund periods, data export options worth knowing about • A clear verdict — Standard, Unusual, or Aggressive — so you know whether you can click through quickly or need to read more carefully WHY INSTALL THIS • You'll catch the bad terms before they bind you, not after. Auto-renewals you can't cancel, lawsuits you've waived, content rights you've given away — they're all in there if you look. The extension makes you look. • You'll spend 10 seconds instead of 40 minutes per agreement. Most people clicking "I agree" today read zero words of what they're agreeing to. The minimum-viable improvement is huge. • You'll build the habit of knowing before signing — at work, on consumer apps, on your kids' game accounts, everywhere. PRIVACY — THIS IS THE WHOLE POINT • The extension only sends the agreement text you explicitly choose to analyze. Nothing more. • It does NOT read your browsing history, cookies, logins, form inputs, page content you haven't selected, or anything else. • It runs only when you click. Never automatically, never on page load, never in the background. • Analyzed text is not stored on our servers after the analysis completes. • Full privacy policy: https://knowb4usign.com/privacy HOW TO USE IT Click the knowb4usign icon to analyze the agreement on the current page, or right-click any selected text and choose "Analyze selection with knowb4usign." The result appears in Chrome's side panel within 5–10 seconds. PRICING The extension is free. Scans count against your knowb4usign account's monthly Terms of Service quota: • Free (Starter): 10 scans per month • Individual ($4.99/month): 50 scans per month • Enterprise: Unlimited scans A free knowb4usign account is required.
