The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Kiri: Pomodoro focus timer on every new tab
Kiri turns the new tab page into the one thing you actually need before you start: a timer with a defined end.
- Type what you are working on. It stays on the page while the block runs.
- Start 25, 50 or 90 minutes. Space starts and pauses.
- Close the tab; the countdown keeps running. The minutes left show on the toolbar icon, a notification marks the end, and a chime plays if a Kiri tab is open.
- Rain while you work, if you want it.
- Signed in to Kiri? Your streak shows in the corner and finished blocks count towards it.
Kiri is a desktop-only focus timer at project-kiri.com: nine long ambient soundscapes recorded and blended by ear, five binaural beats, and no phone app on purpose. The full timer is free; the extension needs no account at all.
No ads, no tracking. The extension itself stores nothing outside your browser. If you are signed in to Kiri, finished blocks (length and the intent line you typed) are sent to your own Kiri account; otherwise nothing leaves the browser except the optional rain sound.
