The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About Kickoff

Kickoff watches the Twitch channels you pick and opens one the moment it goes live. HuddleGG, EA Madden NFL, and BuffaloKaay are already on the list. Add or remove usernames from the toolbar icon. Leave Auto-open on and Chrome opens the stream. Leave Notify on and you get a desktop notification too. Kickoff checks about once a minute while Chrome is open. It will not start Chrome after you fully quit unless Chrome is set to keep running background apps. Channel names stay on your device. They are sent only to Twitch to check who is live. Kickoff looks at open Twitch tabs so it can focus one you already have. It does not read other sites.
