KenLens — Citations, OA & DOI on researchmap

This is not research evaluation — it visualizes public metadata and supports profile maintenance. KenLens overlays citation counts, open-access (OA) availability, and DOI information next to each publication when you open a researcher page on researchmap.jp. WHAT IT DOES - Citations at a glance: each publication gets a chip with its citation count from OpenAlex (fallback: Crossref). Hover to see the data source and the retrieval date. Figures from different sources are never mixed together. - Shortest path to open access: publications with an OA version get an OA chip that opens the full text (PDF when available), based on Unpaywall and OpenAlex. - DOI links and "DOI found" hints: registered DOIs become one-click links. For Latin-script publications without a DOI, KenLens suggests a likely DOI by matching title, year, and author — copy it and paste it into the researchmap editor (owner login required) to tidy up your profile. Candidates come from title matching, so please verify before use. - Summary card: papers in the last 5 years, total citations, OA share, DOI coverage, and frequent co-authors — every rate is shown as "X of Y" with the denominator always visible. - Share card: export the summary as a 1200x675 PNG, generated entirely inside your browser. The disclaimer, data credits, and retrieval date are part of the image; no researcher name is included. - Maintenance report — find papers missing from researchmap: cross-check the OpenAlex author record, or a BibTeX file you exported from your own Google Scholar profile, against researchmap. Save the selected items as a file you can feed straight into researchmap's import (Settings -> Import researcher/achievements). You confirm every candidate yourself; nothing is registered automatically. - Neutral about missing data: when a publication is not found in external databases, you see only a small lens glyph — no warnings. Database coverage is not a statement about the work itself. There are no rankings and no comparisons between researchers. PRIVACY - Runs only on researchmap.jp; does nothing on any other site. - No analytics, no accounts, no browsing-history collection, no developer server. - Only the page's permalink and publication DOIs (or title/year/first-author family name for Latin-script publications without a DOI) are sent — exclusively to academic APIs (researchmap, OpenAlex, Crossref, Unpaywall). The maintenance report additionally queries OpenAlex by the author-record ID derived from those DOIs. Pasted BibTeX never leaves your browser. - Results are cached only inside your browser (researchmap 24 h, lookups 7 d, title matching 30 d) and can be cleared anytime in Settings. - Requests are self-throttled per host (1 request/second to researchmap).
