The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Keep Overview: Google Search Console Analytics
Google Search Console analytics for the page you're actually looking at. Open any URL, click the icon, and see its clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position — no dashboard, no filters, no property switching.
It's the SEO extension for people who work page by page. Search Console is built around properties, not pages. Answering "how is this one article doing?" means opening GSC, picking the right property, adding a page filter, pasting the URL, and setting a date range — every single time. Keep Overview turns that into one click from the tab you're already on.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
WHAT YOU SEE FOR THE CURRENT PAGE
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
• Clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position — the four Search Console metrics that matter, with the change vs. the previous period so you can tell growth from noise
• Performance trend chart over 7 days, 28 days, or 3 months, with clicks and impressions plotted together
• Position distribution — how many of the page's keywords sit in SERP positions 1-3, 4-10, 11-20, and 20+, so you can spot striking-distance rankings at a glance
• Top search queries the page ranks for, with clicks, impressions, CTR, and position per query
• Country breakdown — which markets the page earns its organic traffic from
• Device breakdown — desktop vs. mobile vs. tablet performance
• One-click copy of the full query table as TSV, ready to paste into Google Sheets or Excel
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
QUICK ACTIONS FOR THE CURRENT URL
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
• Open in GSC — jumps to Search Console's performance report already filtered to this exact page
• PageSpeed — runs the URL through Google PageSpeed Insights
• Check Index — a site: search to confirm the page is indexed in Google
Three routine SEO checks that normally cost three tabs and a lot of copy-pasting.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
RANK TRACKER (OPTIONAL)
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
If you track keywords in Keep Omni, connect your account and the Rank Tracker tab shows which of your tracked keywords rank for the page you're on, along with recent daily position history — without leaving the tab.
No Keep Omni account? Everything above still works. The rank tracking tab is an optional add-on, not a paywall.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
WHO USES IT
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
• SEO specialists auditing pages one at a time, or checking a competitor-style teardown of their own site
• Content writers and editors who want to know whether a post earned traffic before they refresh it
• Site owners and founders who want organic search performance without learning the whole GSC interface
• Agencies and consultants running SEO audits or reviewing client pages during a call, without screen-sharing a dashboard
• Anyone doing on-page SEO who needs the query data for a URL while they're editing it
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
HOW IT WORKS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
1. Install and pin the extension
2. Sign in with the Google account that has Search Console access
3. Open any page on a property you own and click the icon
Keep Overview matches the current tab's domain against your verified Search Console properties automatically. Both URL-prefix properties (https://example.com/) and Domain properties (sc-domain:example.com) are supported.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
PERMISSIONS AND PRIVACY
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Keep Overview requests read-only access to Search Console (webmasters.readonly), plus your basic Google profile (name, email, photo) so the popup can show which account is signed in. It never requests write access and cannot change your site's data, settings, or properties.
Your Search Console data goes from Google's API to your browser. Each page's results are cached on your device for 15 minutes so the popup opens instantly, then refreshed automatically. Your session persists across browser restarts, so you sign in once rather than every time.

FAQ
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Do I need a Google Search Console account?
Yes. Keep Overview reads your existing Search Console data, so you need a verified property for the site you're viewing.
Does it work on any website?
It shows data for sites you have Search Console access to. On other sites, there's nothing for it to report.
Why does a page show no data?
Usually one of three reasons: the URL genuinely has no clicks or impressions in the selected period, the page is too new, or Search Console hasn't processed it yet. GSC data typically lags about two days behind — that's Google's reporting delay, not the extension.
Do I need a Keep Omni account?
No. The core analytics work with a Google account alone. Keep Omni only powers the optional Rank Tracker tab.
Does it work with Domain properties?
Yes — both sc-domain: Domain properties and URL-prefix properties.
Can it change anything in my Search Console?
No. The OAuth scope is read-only by design.
Does it support dark mode?
Yes — light, dark, or automatic, following your system theme.
Is it free?
Yes. The Search Console analytics, query data, and quick actions are free to use with your Google account.
