The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Kandue for Students on Canvas LMS
Kandue puts every Canvas deadline from every course into one queue, ranked by what to do first: how soon it is due and how much it counts toward your course grade. The toolbar button shows, on any page, what is overdue, due this week and later, and the next thing to do; from there the panel opens in Chrome's side panel beside your work, floating over the page, or in its own window.
What you get
- One queue of every deadline: overdue, due today, this week, later. Each row says when it is due, what kind of work it is, and what share of your course grade it carries. Above it, a count of what is overdue, due this week and later.
- Each assignment opens inside the panel: its instructions, why it ranks where it does, and a what-if for your course grade. Mark it done there.
- Your announcements from every course in one list.
- A find bar: type part of a name and it opens the course page, module item, assignment or announcement you meant.
- Your deadlines in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook: Settings adds Canvas's own calendar feed, which keeps due dates current there.
- Practice quizzes from your course material, written by Chrome's built-in AI on your own computer, on machines that can run it.
How it works
Kandue reads your assignments, announcements and course page lists through Canvas's own API, on the Canvas session you are already signed in to. There is no API key, no password and no account. Ranking is arithmetic inside the extension.
Writing to Canvas is off until you turn it on
As installed, Kandue changes nothing on Canvas. One setting makes marking an assignment done here also mark it done on your Canvas planner. That is the only thing it can write. It cannot submit work, post or send messages.
Privacy
The only server Kandue contacts is your school's Canvas. There is no Kandue server, and nothing goes to us or to any AI provider. It is free, with no paid tier. Full policy in the Privacy tab.
