The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Kandue for Graders on Canvas LMS
Paste what is left to grade into your TA team's Google Sheet: one row per grader with how many they have left, one row per student naming who grades them on each assignment past due, every cell still to grade linking to SpeedGrader. Pasting again over it updates it. Canvas counts what needs grading course-wide; Kandue for Graders says whose it is and how long it has waited, read over your own Canvas session.
What you get
- Copy for Sheets on the course report: only the assignments past due with work left, with when Canvas was read.
- A queue of every assignment with students of yours still to grade, longest wait first, and behind each the worklist for your block, each student linking straight into SpeedGrader.
- Who grades whom, with nothing to set up: an even block per grader in Canvas name order, moving on by one every assignment. It can also be read from the grades already entered, from Canvas groups named for the TAs, or set by hand. Students nobody has graded yet are named rather than dropped.
- Find one student and see every assignment of theirs at once.
- A toolbar badge with the submissions in your block waiting on a grade, reminders when work has waited, and a morning summary. Settings sets the threshold and quiet hours, or turns them off.
- The course report in a tab of its own: every grader's backlog, the scores each grader gave against the course mean, and every student's row.
- The toolbar button shows what you have left to grade and the next student to open; from there the panel docks in Chrome's side panel beside SpeedGrader, floats over the page, or opens in its own window.
- Teams: who hands in each assignment (each student, every team, or only some teams, read from the assignment's name or its group set) checked against Canvas, so a presentation set copied by hand with a member in the wrong team is caught before a group grade reaches the wrong students. Fixed in one click after a preview, including making the set for a presentation where only some teams hand in. Peer scores, from Canvas peer reviews or peer-evaluation Word files, in one table of who gave whom what, the teammate several peers rate low first, and entered as grades if you choose.
- Comments students left that still wait on a reply, in the queue. Paste a sheet of comments onto an assignment in one go.
- Rubrics by grader: each criterion's average from each grader, so a criterion one grader reads differently stands out.
Nothing changes without a preview
Kandue for Graders writes to Canvas only when you press a button after seeing exactly what will change: group sets, comments you paste, and grades from peer scores. There is no password or setup.
There is no Kandue server
The course read is kept on your device (chrome.storage.local) so the queue shows at once; the next refresh replaces it, and it clears when you remove the extension. Nothing it reads leaves the browser. No account, no backend, nothing measured.
