The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Kanary Enter Guard
No more accidental sends.
Kanary Enter Guard keeps the Enter key from sending messages before you mean it.
SEND WITH CTRL+ENTER (optional)
On supported chat sites, Enter inserts a new line and Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter on Mac) sends. Scope it to AI chats such as ChatGPT and Gemini, or social sites such as Facebook, X, and LinkedIn. Full list of supported sites: https://kanary.to/browser-extensions
On some ChatGPT and Claude pages, if the input box is not recognized but still looks like the chat box, Enter is stopped and a notice says so instead of sending. The notice can turn this off for that input box.
IME GUARD (on by default)
While composing Japanese, Chinese, Korean, or any other IME text, Enter is never treated as send until the composition is finished — on every site. Standard covers normal cases; Aggressive covers sites that misreport composition.
KANARY FOR MAC
Prefer this beyond the browser? The native Kanary app brings Enter Guard to supported Mac AI apps, including ChatGPT, Claude, and Cursor (Apple Silicon, macOS 14+): https://kanary.to/enter-guard
