Kalima: Transcription & AI

This extension connects your browser to the Kalima desktop app. As soon as you join a video call in your browser, the desktop app knows and can start recording. When the meeting ends, it stops the recording if you set it up that way. How it works • The extension checks whether the meeting tab has a live call connection. • It tells the desktop app on the same computer only which service has a call running and since when. • What happens next is up to you in the desktop app: ask first or record automatically. What the extension does not do • It records nothing and reads no content, names or messages from the meeting. • It sends nothing to any server, and no bot joins the call.
