The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About JobTracker — AI Gmail Job Tracker
JobTracker finds the job-application emails in your Gmail inbox, sorts them by stage, and shows them in a private dashboard — so you always know where every application stands without digging through mail.
WHAT IT DOES
• Scans your inbox from a start date you choose and picks out job-related emails using AI
• Sorts each one into Applied, Interview, Assessment, Offer or Rejected
• Adds colour-coded Job/* labels in Gmail so your inbox is scannable at a glance
• Dashboard with search, filters, the full email for each application, and an Analytics view (applications over time, status breakdown, weekly activity)
• Every sync only checks new mail since the last one, so it stays fast and cheap
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No server. Everything runs inside your browser and is stored on your device only
• Nothing is sent to the developer — no accounts, no analytics, no tracking
• The only outside services used are Google (to read and label your Gmail) and OpenAI (to classify emails) — and OpenAI only ever receives the subject line and a short snippet, never the full email
WHAT YOU NEED
• A Gmail account
• Your own OpenAI API key (platform.openai.com). Classification costs about $0.10 per 1,000 emails, billed to you by OpenAI. Your key never leaves your device.
GOOD TO KNOW
• This extension is currently in Google's OAuth testing mode, so it is invite-only: your Gmail address must be added by the developer before you can connect. Google also expires the sign-in every 7 days — reconnecting is one click and nothing is lost.
