About JobLense
JobLense helps you understand a job listing before you spend time applying.
Open JobLense in Chrome’s side panel next to a job posting. It reads the listing and gives you a short, clear summary:
• Qualifications: See whether the role requires experience, a degree, a license, a certification, or an exam. Required and preferred wording are labeled, and each result shows the exact text it came from.
• Employer check: JobLense checks the employer against public sources, such as the company’s own job board, its website, and how long its domain has existed. It also flags warning signs like requests for payment, check deposits, messaging-app interviews, or personal email addresses.
• Application preview: See what the application asks for, including uploads, written responses, required fields, and whether a login is required, before you click Apply.
• Notebook: Keep your resume, cover letters, and reusable answers in one place, then attach or copy them while you apply. Sign in on the JobLense website to sync your Notebook across computers.
• Optional AI research: Add your own Claude API key to have JobLense search the web for more information about the employer and job.
JobLense works on many job boards and employer career sites.
Your privacy: Listing analysis runs on your computer. JobLense has no ads and no analytics, and it never fills in or submits applications for you. Notebook items stay in your browser unless you sign in to sync them to your private account.
JobLense is rule-based and may misread unusual wording, so always check the quoted evidence. Its warnings do not prove that a listing is a scam.
