Jirlee — Kurdish Dictionary: Sorani, Kurmanji, Hawrami

Jirlee is a Kurdish dictionary browser extension for looking up words while reading online. Select a word on a webpage and look it up in Jirlee without leaving the page. Choose the language you want it translated into — once — and every word you look up is kept, so you can find it again. Supported Kurdish varieties include Sorani, Kurmanji, Hawrami, Zazaki, and Kalhori, with translations and definitions in English and German. Features: • Look up selected words directly on webpages • Choose your translation language beside the word — it is remembered, so you are never asked twice • Every word you look up is saved and listed in the popup: newest first, searchable, with how many times you have looked each one up • Four shelves: recent, the words you keep, the words you looked up more than once, and the words Jirlee does not have yet • Export your word list as CSV or JSON at any time • Search Kurdish words from the extension popup • Kurdish keyboard layouts for Arami and Latin scripts • English and German translations • RTL and LTR text support • Offline cache for previously looked-up words • Mark known words on a webpage • Optionally suggest missing words to help improve the dictionary Privacy: Jirlee is designed to minimize data collection. The extension does not read or collect entire webpages, browsing history, cookies, or page addresses. When you explicitly look up a selected word, only the information needed for the dictionary lookup is sent to Jirlee. Your list of looked-up words stays on your own device. It is never uploaded, it is not tied to any account, and you can export or delete all of it at any time. The extension does not contain advertising, analytics, or tracking. The Jirlee browser extension communicates with the Jirlee service only for dictionary functionality.
