The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About JIRA Time Tracker
JIRA Time Tracker is a browser extension that helps you track working time in Jira in a clean and controlled way – without automatic Worklog submissions.
It is designed for developers, designers, managers and team leads who want to:
• avoid cluttering Jira with automatic updates,
• control what data is submitted and when,
• maintain accurate and transparent time tracking throughout the day.
The extension never logs time to Jira automatically – you decide what and when to submit.
Time Tracking
• Local time tracking for Jira issues
• Play / Stop buttons directly inside the Jira interface: on boards, in issue lists, in the backlog and on the timeline
• "Pause" and "Lunch" buttons under the active task
• Separate service tasks for breaks and meetings
• Comments for each time entry
• Change the issue status without leaving the extension
• Manual submission of time and comments to Jira
• Log history for any selected period
• "My" tab with search across your Jira issues
Breaks and Meetings
• Separate service tasks for breaks and meetings
• Lunch with a set duration that ends by itself – and optionally returns you to the task you left
• Google Calendar integration (automatic meeting detection)
• Local calendar caching for faster loading
• Smart detection of meeting links (Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Jitsi and others)
• Optional auto-start for meetings (with automatic opening of the meeting link)
• Option to exclude recurring meetings from reports
Reports
• Daily report in Markdown format
• Weekly and monthly team reports
• Export team reports to Excel
• Save reports to Google Drive (opens in Google Sheets)
• Optional integration with Mattermost to populate "What was done" in team reports
• Optional auto-send of the daily report at a time you choose
Gemini (optional, your own API key)
• Rewrites your short notes so any colleague can understand them
• Builds a weekly team summary: issues grouped by project and status, with everyone's notes turned into readable text
• Falls back to another available model when Google's is busy, so a report still gets built
Mattermost Integration
• Automatic status updates (working, meeting, lunch, break, no tracking)
• Configurable working hours (auto Do Not Disturb outside schedule)
• Send reports to private messages or channels
• Pull report data from a selected chat/channel
Interface
• Russian and English languages
• Light, Dark and System themes
• Clean and minimal UI focused on clarity
Sync & Backup
Settings and tracking history can be stored in your Google account (Google Drive).
This allows you to restore your data and settings on another device without manual configuration.
Privacy
All data is stored locally in your browser. Nothing leaves your machine except through the integrations you connect yourself: Jira, Google, Mattermost and Gemini.
