The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About JEFF
JEFF helps recruiters at recruitment agencies decide faster which candidate profiles in LinkedIn Recruiter need a closer look.
You describe the role with up to 10 criteria, such as "has at least 5 years of experience" or "has worked in recruitment operations".
You can assign each criterion a weight and mark it as required. JEFF then checks each profile on the current Recruiter results page against those criteria and shows:
• one match percentage per candidate, with a clear status: Match, Check first (a required criterion is not in the profile) or Not a match
• per criterion: in profile, partly in profile, contradicted, not in profile or unclear
• the source text that was assessed, so you can check it yourself
Results appear in the Chrome side panel and on the Recruiter result cards: green for a match, orange to check first, grey for not a match. Nothing is hidden. When you open a candidate, JEFF adds the extra information from that profile, rescores it, and shows the score on the profile. That also works when you go through candidates one by one past the results page. Information that is not in a profile counts as unknown, not as a negative.
How it works
• JEFF runs in the Chrome side panel next to LinkedIn Recruiter.
• It reads up to 25 profiles on the results page you are viewing, and the profile of a candidate you open, from data your browser has already loaded. JEFF itself never opens profiles, goes to other pages, or sends extra requests to LinkedIn.
• The professional parts of each profile (such as headline, experience with dates and descriptions, education, skills, languages and certifications) are sent to the JEFF service for scoring. Names, contact details and profile links are not sent, and the service does not store profile text, criteria or results.
• Saved searches and results stay in your own browser.
• Criteria about age, gender, ethnicity, religion, health, nationality and other protected characteristics are refused
Requirements
• A JEFF account. Your recruitment agency's administrator invites you. JEFF does not offer public sign-up.
• A LinkedIn Recruiter seat.
• Chrome 116 or later.
JEFF is decision support. The percentage is indicative. You make the decisions about candidates.
