IXL Helper

IXL Helper adds a small, draggable Solve widget to supported IXL math practice pages. Press Solve to see a suggested answer for the current visible question. On supported questions, you can open a short explanation with Why? and use Paste to fill an answer field or select a uniquely matched multiple-choice option. The extension never presses IXL’s Submit button—you check and submit answers yourself. Built-in math handling works without additional software. For questions it cannot handle directly, IXL Helper can optionally use Ollama running on your own computer to interpret the question or suggest an offered choice. Ollama and its models are not included. Some questions are unsupported, and suggestions can be incorrect. IXL Helper stores only the widget’s position, size, and enabled setting in local Chrome storage. It has no analytics, telemetry, ads, accounts, or question history. When optional local AI is used, extracted content from the current question is sent to Ollama at 127.0.0.1 on your computer; no cloud AI service is included.
