The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About ITmode - Block sites & Focus
ITmode — a focus timer and website blocker, connected to your ITmode account.
Make room for focused work, studying, or your next coding session. Start a timer, choose the websites you want to set aside, and keep your focus session in sync across your devices.
A TIMER WITHIN REACH
Start and stop your timer right from the browser. Choose a countdown for a planned session or count up as you work. Select one of your saved tags and see how much focus time you have recorded today.
YOUR WEBSITES, YOUR GROUPS
Create blocking groups for different tasks. Choose popular websites or add your own domains, then select a group for your timer. You can rename groups and add, edit, or remove website rules directly in the extension. Blocking applies to the selected websites and their subdomains while the timer is active.
A MOMENT BEFORE THE DISTRACTION
Open a blocked website and ITmode covers the page with a short breathing exercise. Take a breath and see how many times that website has been blocked today. You can close the tab and return to your task, or allow access for 5, 10, or 15 minutes. Access expires when the selected time is up or the current timer ends, whichever comes first. It does not carry over to the next session.
CONNECTED TO YOUR ITmode APP
Your timer and blocking groups sync between devices signed in to the same account. Start a focus timer in the extension or in the ITmode app on another device, with a blocking group selected, and the extension applies that group's website rules in your browser.
GETTING STARTED
An ITmode account is required. Sign in with your email and password. If you need to create an account, recover access, or set a password, use the ITmode app first.
The extension uses access to websites to display the blocking screen. It blocks websites only in the browser where it is installed and has the necessary permissions; it does not block native applications.
